Lumene is one of my favourite brands for both skincare and makeup, mainly because of the great work they do within sustainability, but also because they have a great range of products suitable for fair skin like mine. This CC cream and pressed powder from their Color Correcting range caught my interest when I was looking for a light base to wear during spring & summer. I haven’t tried any of these products before but I’m a big fan of the Lumene Blur Foundation.
Now I’m really looking forward to giving these ones a go. Fingers crossed they are equally great! Lumene is of course cruelty free and the CC range is 100% vegan!
A new favourite in my make up bag is without a doubt this mineral powder foundation from Idun Minerals. Idun is a Swedish brand that sells mineral make up. They do not use animal testing and a lot of their products are even vegan, for example this mineral foundation. This product is also the only make up item on the Swedish market that has been approved by the Asthma & Allergy Foundation in Sweden. This foundation can be found in 18 different shades, from the lightest one called Jorunn to the darker Daga. It’s made from 100% minerals and does not contain perfume or preservatives.
I really like this product first of all because of the shade range. I have the lightest shade and it’s almost too light, which has practically never happened to me before. It matches perfectly with my neck though, because it’s as pale as can be, haha. It also blends into the skin effortlessly and gives a really pretty glow without being sparkly. You can’t feel it on your skin, which is a big pro for me. It also stays put all day long. Definitely a new make up favourite! If you want to try it out you can find it at Lyko, Eleven or at your local pharmacy.
Have your tried any of the products from Idun Minerals, or do you have any other mineral make up favourites?
